Fund a campaign, set its rules and expiry, and let approvals gate the money. Every balance change is requested by one person and approved by another.

Issuance and redemption
Issue vouchers to customers by SMS or WhatsApp, and redeem them at participating merchants. Reservations hold value while a purchase is being confirmed, so nothing is spent twice.

Merchant settlement
Redemptions accumulate against each merchant's account and pay out through the market's payment provider, with the payout's full status history kept alongside it.

One instance per market
Helium Voucher is deployed separately in each market it operates in, so a country's campaigns, merchants and customer data stay within that market. It runs in five markets today — the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Mozambique and Tanzania — and staff sign in through the instance for the country they work in.
